Here at A Metal Werks we are excited and fortunate to be continuing the legacy of Four Dog Stove by manufacturing the amazing stoves designed by Don Kevilus. A Metal Werks began as a hobby shop side hustle years ago and is now dedicated to building wood stoves and accessories for the hot tenting market. George Wells, owner and operator, has more than 30 years welding and manufacturing experience, which he will put to use making the best stoves on the market. George has been mentored by Don for the past 5 years, at Four Dog, welding, fabricating and learning the ins and outs of these great stoves.
Much like Four Dog Stove, A Metal Werks is a small shop, where a couple will build stoves, by hand, in small batches, right here in the USA. As the shop develops, more products and designs will be added to the line up. Currently the classic Lil Dog will be produced, along with the Mule: A Steel/Titanium hybrid that will be coming soon!
